Beloved, I don’t suppose that any of us are fully ignorant of the rampant sin, destruction, degradation and betrayal growing exponentially by the day, both in the world and, tragically, in the Church. I could list the appointments that our Holy Father Leo is making of Bishops who not only do not believe the Faith, but openly teach against it. The prophets wrote of a false church being formed. I am not alone in suspecting that we are witnessing the exposure of that false church. It does not resemble the Church which Our Lord built upon the rock which is Peter, but rather a false church built upon the destructive sand of so-called synodality.

Bishop Strickland is right on top of all that is occurring, and he does not cease to clarify and warn us of impending destruction, no less certain than was the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. It is a dire Lenten message because it is urgent. We ignore what is increasingly against us, us: Our Lord’s sheep, and our beloved Church, at our own peril – and salvation.

We are with you, dear ones, in this battle for souls – for our own, for the souls of those whom we love, and for the souls of those who have never heard the Gospel. Christ died for them too. God help us to take our individual and collective  vocation to love and holiness seriously, and to not keep to ourselves the only means of salvation that we, through His grace, have been given – to not keep, but to give to others – now, while it is yet day.
