Beloved, how could I resist sending this to you after this last series of discouraging emails on the state of the Church? The dear friend who sent it to me wrote, “Could not pass up sending this to you!!!” And I thought the same, so here ’tis:

Dear Ones, I know this is crazy, but I don’t wish to withhold (as these things come to my attention) what I believe is so very vital to our Faith and lives as Catholics.
The video below with Raymond Arroyo and “The Prayerful Posse” is, to me, perhaps the most intelligent and thoroughly Catholic response to the Holy Father’s very first encyclical, “Magnifica Humanitas,” the full text of which can be read here.
I commend Raymond Arroyo: author, journalist, producer and, I must say, amazing entertainer. whose many works can be found at: (https://www.raymondarroyo.com/); Father Gerald Murray, J.C.D., pastor of Holy Family Church in New York City and outstanding canon lawyer, whose prayers helped me into the Church in 1995, and whose book: “Calming the Storm – Navigating the Crises Facing the Catholic Church and Society” is a wonderful guide as we navigate every false and seemingly compromised teaching of the Church today; and Robert Royal, Editor-in-Chief of “The Catholic Thing” (https://www.thecatholicthing.org/) for their untiring and unwavering analysis and commentary on the state and life of the Church. This is the first time I have sent out one of their programs; I think their analysis of the Holy Father’s encyclical is vital for every Catholic to know and understand.

Dear Family, I can hardly believe I’m sending out another email. Oy! But I think this one by Father Robert McTeigue, S.J. (which I just received from a dear friend) you may find, as I did, humerous, refreshing, strengthening to our mission as Catholics, and helpful to pass on to others who may feel alone in their daily strivings to be faithful in a world, and in a Church, that has largely turned from God.

Beloved, I don’t wish to bombard you with email mailings! However, I just received the mailing below from Dan Burke of the Avila Foundation and wish I could “bombard” the whole world with it.
I believe that nothing, absolutely nothing, is more crucial in today’s increasingly evil society than the preservation of the family. Because . . . the family is God’s design – not manmade, not one idea among many – but God’s specific and only design to build His Kingdom, to get us from Earth to Heaven.
