Are announcing . . .

New Sisters for the World

New Hope for the Family!

Beloved, our last few emails have been on the “down-ish” side concerning our fight for the Faith, for reverence, holiness and steadfastness in the Truth. We want to bring you now, in contrast, hope – Hope for our Church and Hope for the Family.

First: We have just completed . . .

12 new cells awaiting 12 new Sisters!

Many of you know that we have been, and still are, committed to receiving women of all ages (18-118 in fact!). Understandably then, we now have an imbalance of women over 50. Therefore, we have planned three two-week discernment retreats for this summer for younger women, ages 17 to 35. Here are the dates:

When:June 10-24  . . . . .  July 8-22  . . . . .  and August 5-19
Who:Young Catholic Women, Ages 17 to 35
Where:At the Benedictine Monastery of the
Daughters of Mary, Mother of Israel’s Hope
1155 N. FM 2869 – Winnsboro Texas 75494
Email:vocationinquiry@motherofisraelshope.org

If you, or you and a friend, are interested in exploring a religious vocation, simply email us at the vocation inquiry email address above and we’ll get right back to you. In the blessed words of Saint Francis de Sales:

“To know whether God will have a person become a religious it is not to be expected that God Himself should speak, or send an angel from heaven to signify His will. It is not necessary that ten or twelve confessors should examine whether the vocation is to be followed. But it is necessary to correspond with the first movement of the inspiration, and to cultivate it, and then not to grow weary if disgust or coldness should come on. If a person acts thus, God will not fail to make all succeed to His glory. Nor ought we to care much from what quarter the first movement comes. The Lord has many ways of calling His servants.”

Second, I think most of us believe that the family has, from the beginning, been God’s design to build His Kingdom – and, therefore, the enemy’s target to destroy. Our primary charism at the Daughters of Mary, Mother of Israel’s Hope is to help restore God’s design for the family.

To that end, Mother Miriam will begin a series on her weekday radio podcast, Mother Miriam Live, titled:

Hope for the Family

in the Midst of a World Turned from God

Mother will be going through two extremely wonderful books: The Christian Father and The Christian Mother, both written by Reverend Wilhelm Cramer, and published by Benziger Brothers between 1880-1883. Both books may be purchased online or downloaded for free at: http://catholicharboroffaithandmorals.com/The_Christian_Father.pdf and https://catholicharboroffaithandmorals.com/The_Christian_Mother.pdf#page=8.

In addition to the live program, which welcomes call-ins and email questions, Mother Miriam Live, may also be watched or simply listened to at any day and time at thestationofthecross.com on Facebook, Rumble, YouTube and other social media outlets.

Here are the details:

What:Hope for the Family
In the Midst of a World Turned from God
When:Beginning in the Month of the Sacred Heart
Monday-Friday, from June 1, 2:00-3:00 p.m.EST
Where:On Mother Miriam Live through The Station of the Cross,
Facebook, YouTube, Rumble and other social media outlets.

This is a wonderful opportunity for men’s/husband’s and women’s/wives study groups!

God bless you all in your holy calling to raise a generation of saints who will restore the family and society to sanity and to the God Who loved us and Who gave Himself for us.

May Our Lord grant you and all whom you love a most blessed and holy Pentecost!

With our love and prayers,
Mother Miriam of the Lamb of God, O.S.B.

For All the Faithful

Beloved, just as I was about to send this latest sane message from Bishop Strickland, today’s headline from LifeSiteNews struck me:

Where are our shepherds??? While the Church hierarchy, the same hierarchy who joined in the worship of the Pachamama idol, threatens to excommunicate the Society of St. Pius X for their plan to consecrate new bishops in order to save and continue the Church’s perennial teaching including, above all, the Mass of the ages, heretic prelates are given free run to teach, publish and lead the Faithful astray – seriously astray. Where is the outcry on this Cardinal. Why is he not laicized? Why is his book not banned, as books were banned in the past in order to protect the sheep?

From Bishop Joseph Strickland:

The Crisis of Forgetting

The crisis of our age is not merely rebellion against truth. It is the slow training of souls to forget it.

Not all at once. Not through open hatred of Christ in every case. Not always through direct attacks against the Church. The enemy has learned a quieter strategy, a more subtle corruption. If souls can be taught to forget, then eventually they will surrender truths they once would have died defending.

And so we find ourselves living through a crisis of forgetting.

Blessed Easter!

Beloved, I believe this is the third time I have sent this Easter card out. It was sent to me years ago by a dear friend, following my conversion to the Catholic Church and his return to the same! I cried for hours after watching it for the first time and hold back tears each time I watch it to this day.

I send it now again to confirm the Shepherd’s love to all who believe and in union of prayer with all who have lost children, friends and maybe parents to other faiths or to the stark emptiness of the world. May all your lost and wandering sheep come Home!

With our love and prayers,
Mother Miriam of the Lamb of God, O.S.B.
